Nancy Reynolds holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Education from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland. Her career in teaching evolved through three avenues:
- Cecil County Public Schools – 4 years – Elementary Education teacher
- Private tutoring practice in her local community through Educational Ministries at the Yokefellow Center in Rising Sun, MD – 28 years – Special Education/Learning Disabilities Specialist
- Employment at West Nottingham Academy, Colora, MD – 21 years – Learning Specialist in the Chesapeake Learning Center – Lead tutor, Director
Nancy is mother of three and grandmother of seven – She feels as if her life has been a delicious smorgasbord of interesting and therapeutic endeavors including spiritual development, world travel, photography, perennial gardening, reading, writing, yoga, and a broadening knowledge of technology.
The important skill sets that Nancy brings to the work of a personal historian are: exceptional listening and interviewing skills, facilitator of discussions, seasoned writing experience, care and empathy, a love for people, a passionate belief in the worth and worthiness of every person regardless of their station in life.
Hourly charges are reasonable and will be negotiated before work begins.
